Private, owner-operated utility

Encrypted database recovery, kept in the owner’s Drive.

Cloud Asset Manager Backup is a private, self-hosted tool. It creates compact, encrypted recovery bundles for its owner’s Cloud Asset Manager database and stores only those app-created files in Google Drive.

Limited Google Drive access

The app requests drive.file, allowing it to manage only files it creates or files explicitly shared with it. It cannot browse unrelated Drive files.

Purpose and boundaries

What the application does

01

Packages database state

It compresses the manager’s metadata database and the key required to recover encrypted credentials. Cloudflare asset bodies are never included.

02

Encrypts before upload

Every recovery bundle is authenticated and encrypted on the owner’s server before it is sent to Google Drive.

03

Maintains recovery points

It creates, lists, downloads, replaces, and deletes only its managed backup files, using bounded retention to avoid unnecessary storage.

Data use

No advertising. No resale. No unrelated Drive access.

Google user data is used solely to authenticate the owner and operate encrypted database backups. This public information site contains no login, analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts. Read the complete privacy policy.
